Ecosystem Services	Description

Financial	Plug & Play assists start-up companies via a connection to financial consultancies, providing financial analysis, audits, banking (loans), potential investment and financial information.

International Institution	Plug & Play has established relationship with international organization and corporations for the benefit of its Investee companies and Residents.

Mentoring	Plug & Play promotes mentor-network programmes, where entrepreneurs are guided to commercialize their ideas. Mentors who are chosen are from various domain expertise having invaluable skills, knowledge, experience and services to share. This access to professional services and advice at no or little cost. The mentoring program links the CEO of an incubator company with retired executives or with someone in the community who is interested in a particular start-up company and or supportive of business incubation.

Universities/ Research Institution	Plug & Play has established relationship with universities and research institutes direct or indirectly through Modal Perdana for the benefit of Investee companies and Residents in terms of getting new knowledge, ideas, IPs, contacts and collaborations. Plug & Play collaborates and promotes commercialization activities with universities and research institutions.

Venture Capitalist	Plug & Play provides funding and other means of capital access which is critical for a successful start-up company. Plug & Play make highly selective investments in young companies with high growth potential and becomes involved in the business at an early expansion stage.

Consultancy	Plug & Play offers specialized expertise and consulting assistances for start-up companies to excel in their business. Residents would enjoy this shared services programs with access to free or low-costing consulting, brokering consultant services and other arrangements. The types of consultancies proposed by Plug & Play are market, industry, consumer and public relation researches and consulting.

Customers	Plug & Play involves in the business at end-user level by assisting the start-up companies in marketing and distribution or even matching up business with existing Residents or Plug & Play's own clients. The marketing strategies that would be practised or employed are either direct or indirect sales force, advertising, tradeshows, seminars, telemarketing, direct mail, public relations and electronic media.

Associations	Plug & Play provides access to associations related to entrepreneurs, technology and funding. For example the Technopreneurs Association Malaysia (TeAM) is currently a Resident at the Plug & Play Technology Garden. The benefits of having an association related to entrepreneur is to enjoy courses/training conducted at no or minimum fee and hence increase business network.

Entrepreneurs Network	Plug & Play holds quarterly Resident's meeting (known as Town hall meeting) to serve and inform tenants about program development as well as provide opportunity to network with other tenants. Speakers are invited to give presentation on a subject of interest to the tenants. The management provides information about any incubator program updates, funding sources, and resources available to tenants. Plug & Play wants the setting to be social and thus maintain as informational focus.

Events	The event ecosystem provides a physical (infrastructure) platform to host variety of events, a part of its efforts to brand itself as a technology networking centre. Plug & Play has built a conference room for the purpose of training, presentations or launching of an event accommodating 100 audiences with audio and visual equipments.
